This remarkable accolade is entirely driven by your nominations and votes, reflecting the voice of the industry.
Over recent weeks nominations have been gathered for individuals who has made a significant contributions to the profession over the last 12-months. People who have not just been successful in their roles, but personalities who have shaped the industry in 2023 and beyond.
The 2024 champion will follow in the footsteps of 2022 and 2023 champions Richard Mathias and Scott Bozinis respectively.
The nominees were reviewed to reveal the final shortlist, which then went to a public vote to find the Today’s Conveyancer Industry Champion 2024.
Winners will be announced at the gala celebration at 8 Northumberland Avenue on Tuesday 12th March.
YOUR shortlist is….
Rob Hailstone
Rob is nearing 50 years in the conveyancing profession first at the coalface as a practicing conveyancer, and more recently as the CEO Bold Legal Group, a membership body for conveyancers and property solicitors. He has placed the interests of the conveyancing sector at the heart of his work, being the voice of the conveyancer at times when they are risk of not being heard.
His regular bulletins are a wealth of information for practitioners with the Bold Legal Group forum an active and helpful resource when tricky matters arise. He has been a vocal advocate of improving the relationship between estate agents and conveyancers and the value of material and up front information.
Natalie Moore
Natalie established Aconveyancing in 2017 with a mission to do things differently. She is a pioneer of the four day working week and passionate about offering pathways into the legal profession for young people from a range of backgrounds through the training academy.
In May 2023, Aconveyancing was awarded the Gold Investors in People Standard, one of only 21 law firms across the whole of the UK to hold the accreditation, and in 2023 she launched the Aconveyancing Charity Fundraising & Networking Day; a summer party designed to bring together colleagues from across the industry to spend time together, share information, breakdown boundaries whilst raising over £3,000 for charity.
Beth Rudolf
A persistent campaigner for change and improvement in the home moving sector. The arrival of leasehold reform on the government’s housing agenda is testament to years of work and lobbying and a landmark moment for the sector. Beth’s tireless efforts campaigning has seen her take an active role in the Home Buying and Selling Group as co-Chair.
Beth has consistently delivered tangible regulatory changes to conveyancing for the benefit of the consumer and the profession as result of her hard work and negotiation with many parties in the process and being bloody-minded and likeable enough to force them through.
The public vote has now closed.
The winner will be announced on Tuesday 12th March 2024.
